Absolutely incredible, such a shame that all we have left are ruins, but it is still simply amazing. Well worth a visit and the view from the very top is stunning!

I enjoyed my visit to this site. I visited on a hot sunny day. If you're going to visit on a hot day, remember to take with you a bottle of iced water because you will climb a few flights of stairs in the heat and when thirst comes calling, you will wish you had a bottle of water with you. Once at the top, there's this beautiful and well kept Woodlands. Tried to go in and take in the scenery but was told I couldn't go in so had to admire from outside. Also from the top, you get this panoramic view of the Kos town below and the ocean. Its beautiful. Could stay up there all day. My one gripe here is the entry fee. They ask where you're from before they sell you tickets and once you tell them you're from the UK, they tell you have to pay higher than everyone else. Its preposterous. Other than that, I love the ancient ruins. I wish it wasn't ruined and one could take in the building and monuments as they stood.

Very impressive site with fantastic views, although, like a lot of the historical sights here, over detailed plaques bombard you with information and make it quite difficult to take understand everything, could be simplified a bit.........in my opinion. Also, a very hot, exposed location with no refreshments available and t-shirts must be worn, or you'll get told off......like I was!

Beautiful ruins! I have been to kos over 30 times and last time I saw this place I was around 8yr, and coming back this time was great and they had put up some food information stand around the place explaining everything about the place
