A beautiful place in the middle of the city. The former heart of the island. Remnants of the market, as well as the Temple of Aphrodite and Hercules. The entire walk takes about half an hour. Definitely worth seeing.

Free ruins, some rather nice mosaics, well preserved columns, etc. make for a pleasant 15-20 min stroll. There's not much else to do in Kos, so this is free entertainment for a spell. I'm flabbergasted that the Greek government doesn't take steps to protect this site!

Free to visit, not much to see, no sign of preservation in the area. Also except the sign at the entrance with opening hours and name of place, no other information is shown.

It's a great archeological site, right in Kos old town. There are some restaurants near it where you can sit down and see the whole site from your table. The entrance it's free, and it feels like a park, but the ruins are pretty much beaten down. I think it can be more properly utilized for tourism.
